The Firm provides legal services related to all types and sizes of transactions. This includes assisting in transactions from initial purchase through the completion of the real estate development project. The Firm has specific expertise in representing clients before the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and has obtained many favorable rulings from that governing body. Our services include rezoning and land-use planning; water rights; negotiation of financing; project development, including preparation of covenants and restrictions, easements and operating agreements; leasing, sale, or tax-free exchange of the completed project; and litigation of real property issues, including easements, water rights, violation of CC&Rs and condemnation issues.
Representative Experience:
Successfully represented developer before County Commissioners and TRPA in obtaining approval for new multi-residential development.
Represented developer in planning and before TRPA in connection with commercial subdivision. Prepared relevant documentation, including leases and covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs). Negotiated financing with lenders.
Represented clients in acquisition and redevelopment of commercial properties in downtown redevelopment area.
Represented resort and ski industry client with respect to master plan for United States Forest Service, Bi-State, State and County agencies.
Represented client in creation of a lot and block subdivision and golf course development.
Represented client in multi-story condominium project.
Represent investors in acquisition and condominium conversion of large apartment complexes.
Represented seller in then largest private residential sale in Lake Tahoe.
Represented seller in sale of 7,500 acre undeveloped property to joint venture conglomerate.
Represent multi-office real estate brokerage firm at Lake Tahoe, Incline Village and surrounding communities.
